hit a bulkhead and his passenger was thrown from the boat. He left without helping his friend.
Coast Guard announces safety rules after deadly boat fire. January 7, 2022, https://abcnews.go.com/ reports
that rules come 2 years after the deadly blaze that killed 34 people on a scuba diving boat.
FWC responds to boat fire with injuries in Englewood. January 10, 2022, https://www.winknews.com/ reports that
the boat was preparing to leave the dock and shortly after being started it exploded causing injuries to the
operator.
‘Ethan’s Law’ moves forward in honor of 10-year-old killed in boating crash. January 20, 2022,
https://www.fox13news.com/ reports that the boy died after his instructor fell over board and his boat his several
student boats. The law would require instructors to wear an engine safety cut-off device.
