LSO Finds Stolen Boat Engine On Facebook. October 20, 2022, https://klin.com/ reports that the motor was seen
on Facebook Marketplace and made contact with the seller and arranged a meeting which resulted in a person
being arrested.
Ring camera footage catches boat theft attempt. October 14, 2022, https://wsbt.com/ reports that thanks to a
ring camera, an attempted boat theft was stopped once the thieves realized the were on camera and promptly
theft the boat.
Federal Grand Jury Issues New Indictment in Conception Boat Fire. October 18, 2022, https://www.justice.gov/
reports that the captain has now been charged with misconduct or neglect of ship officer after being indicted by a
federal grand jury.
3 boats catch fire, sink at Little Creek Marina in Norfolk; shipping channel blocked. October 17, 2022,
https://www.pilotonline.com/ reports that three boasts sank after catching on fire and burned for more than 90
minutes.
